Spring semester 2017 rehearsals kick off on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the San Joaquin Delta College Band Room, Holt Center Room 113, on the Delta campus, situated at 5757 Pacific Avenue, Stockton. There is ample parking for a fee of $2.00. (Purchase a daily parking permit from one of the meters located in each parking lot, and place the permit on the dashboard of your vehicle to avoid a citation from campus police.)

Come join us as we make beautiful music under the direction of San Joaquin Delta College’s former Director of Bands, Art Holton!

In order to be a member of the Band, you must be enrolled as a student at San Joaquin Delta College and enrolled in Music 028 (1 college unit), Course No. 67303, or 128 (no college credit), Course No. 13022. If you have not previously enrolled in a Delta College class or more than two semesters have elapsed since you last attended the college, you must reapply for admission following the step-by-step directions set forth on Delta’s website. Note: It is extremely helpful and very much appreciated if you apply and/or register prior to the first rehearsal, because that minimizes the amount of time spent dealing with administrative/clerical matters and allows us to devote the bulk of our time together rehearsing!

High school students: You are invited to be a member of Stockton Concert Band and earn one unit of credit from San Joaquin Delta College, but you must be concurrently enrolled in your high school’s band and obtain permission from both your principal and high school band director. Mr. Holton will provide you with the required forms at the first rehearsal. It is your responsibility to obtain those individuals’ signatures and return the completed forms to Mr. Holton in a timely manner.
