We are delighted to announce that in-person rehearsals and performances will resume for the Fall 2021 semester!

Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. on the Atherton Auditorium stage at San Joaquin Delta College, 5151 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California.

Registration is now open for San Joaquin Delta College‘s Fall 2021 term. In order to be a member of the Stockton Concert Band, you must register to be a student via the college’s online registration system. If you have not previously enrolled in a Delta College class or more than two semesters have elapsed since you last attended the college, you must reapply for admission following the step-by-step directions set forth on Delta’s website.

Director Arthur Holton III requests that all band members and prospective members register now. Registration demonstrates to Delta College’s Administration that the Stockton Concert Band is eager and ready to get rehearsals underway again, and conveys our appreciation for Delta College’s ongoing support of the arts. It is extremely helpful and very much appreciated if you apply and/or register prior to the first rehearsal because that minimizes the amount of time that must be devoted to administrative/clerical matters. rather than rehearsal.

After you have completed the application process or, if you are a continuing student, you must enroll in one of two classes. If you would like to receive one unit of college credit, register for Music 028 (Course No. 70714). If you prefer to audit the course and not receive college credit, register for Music 128 (Course No. 70739).

High school students, please note: You are invited to be a member of the Stockton Concert Band and earn one unit of credit from Delta College, but you must be concurrently enrolled in your high school’s band and obtain permission from both your principal and high school band director. The forms may be obtained from Mr. Holton at the first rehearsal of the semester.

Additionally, after you have registered, please send an email informing Mr. Holton at arthur.holton at deltacollege dot edu. You will be added to his email distribution list. Prior to the first rehearsal, Mr. Holton will communicate with all new and returning band members about COVID-19 protocols that will govern our gatherings.
